Hmm, this "ArgosSoft" guy worries me somewhat. First GWEstimator, now Freecam.
Hope everything else he does is kosher - there's a lot of EULA bending going on here.
Impressive stuff, nevertheless.
Also, lolpiggiez ^_^

there is no freecam available on it, there is just a video.
i dont know how the estimator work, but i think we can't fear a guy who always give his ign ^^
i think its just a good guy, we better should fear those who don't speak .
btw these pigs are fun, im sure the devs who add them haven't made them for nobodies can see. I don't think they wont anyone bend EULA. A video is a good deal so.

I think that pig model/animation was designed for pigs doing what they do best - rolling around in the muck in their sty. Looks a bit odd when they're out in the fields
I wasn't saying that the freecam app was available, just that this guy has created it to make his videos. An app that interacts with Guild Wars in a way that is contrary to the provisons of the user licence.
I'm actually very impressed with his talents. Who knows what other things he might be capable of doing with Guild Wars?

The site is down. Apparently it's happened before. It might be back, it might not. I'd think that if it was a serious violation that Anet would have shut it down asap, but they didn't, so I'm expecting it to be some other issue and to have it back in a few days or so.

Appears to be an "account suspended" situation. My guess would be that he's been hosting his stuff on a free site and that the interest in GWEstimator has taken him way beyond their usage limits.
ANet should employ this guy...

Anet is not working on gw 1, and they don't care about this ... sadly.

I've downloaded and used the GCamUnlocker and told a friend about it. He told me that since it likely used script injection that my account was going to get banned. Should I be worried. Sorry if this is a bit of a thread jack.

I certainly wouldn't use it - because I don't understand exactly how it does what it does. Way too risky, imo.

I used it for a bit messing around. The account wasn't banned. And from the looks of it wasn't hacked.
This was ofc on an alt but to check for hacking I dropped some decently valuable stuff on there and none of it seemed to go missing.
Ofc I can't guarantee safety my personal experience says that it is ok.

It's not so much the safeness of the program I'm worried about (although that is a major point) - it's more whether the way the program interacts with gw.exe causes anything to flag at ANet HQ.
